
Indigenous Games
Nature Saskatchewan will be leading some Indigenous games for all ages to enjoy. These games were a traditional way to share knowledge and develop survival skills in First Nations culture. They taught skills like agility, strength, balance, reflexes, hand-eye coordination, accuracy, strategy, intuition, and patience.
At the tipi’s at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 join Knowledge Keepers to learn the stories about the traditions behind Indigenous games. Anytime between 11am and 5pm join Nature Saskatchewan to make you own hoop and stick Indigenous game, and play Run and Scream.
