What is Frost?
FROST REGINA is a community initiative brought together by several stakeholders including the City, the Province and a group of dedicated professionals. Hence, there will be events and entertainment happening under FROST REGINA, which includes, FROST @REAL, FROST @DOWNTOWN, FROST @WAREHOUSE and FROST @WASCANA.
What are the dates for Frost Regina?
Friday, February 4th to Sunday, February 13th.
Will there be a combination of free and paid events?
Yes, the events at the REAL Campus ( EVRAZ PLACE) will have an all-inclusive FROST PASS that will gain you access to all events.
All programming at Wascana will be Free.
Activities Downtown and in the Warehouse District will be a combination of paid and free and more details will be available soon!
Will food/beverages be available at the venues?
Yes! Each hub will have multiple areas for food & beverage. The Downtown restaurants will also be hosting Restaurant week with numerous specials.

How does this align with Waskimo?
Waskimo, now known as Wascana Winter Festival, is happening on February 17th.
Will Frost be every year?
Yes. The committee – Regina Winter Festival, chaired by Councillor Lori Bresciani and Tim Reid, are working to make this an annual festival.
Is there merchandise to purchase? Where?
Yes, there will be toques, scarfs and pins. Locations to be determined.
What will the ticket cost be for the various events @REAL?
A FROST pass of $17 per person will give you access to all the properties including:
- Confederation Park
- GLOW @ Real in the Viterra International Trade Centre
- Iceville at Mosaic Stadium
- Music Concerts on February 4th and February 5th at Brandt Centre on first-come-first-served basis
- Skins Game on February 5th at Brandt Centre
Will there be concerts?
Yes! We have a very popular and famous line-up for you performing at the Brandt Centre:
- Friday, February 4th – 7pm: Big Wreck
- Saturday, February 5th – 7pm: Dean Brody
The admission fee is included in the $17 pass. However, the seating will be on first-come-first-served basis and the pass does not guarantee confirmed entry.
Is Iceville included?
Yes, your FROST PASS gives you access to Iceville.
When will frost passes be available?
Passes go on sale December 2nd, 2021.
What is frost @REAL’s ticket policy?
All passes are final sale, no refunds.
Will all events be outdoor/indoor?
It will be a combination of both at all hubs. We suggest you dress appropriately in line with Saskatchewan winters.
Where is the Wascana Centre Hub located?
Along Walter Scott Way, north of Legislative Drive near the Queen Elizabeth II Gardens and Leg Landing.
Is there a fee to enter the Wascana Centre Hub?
No – admission to, and all activities within, the Wascana Centre hub are free of charge.
How do I register for Wascana Centre Hub events?
Information and registration information can be found at www.wascana.ca/events-and-programs/frost.
Will sleigh rides and dog sledding require prior registration?
No – these activities will be controlled similar to a restaurant registration. When you arrive at the activity you give your name and will be assigned the next available time slot. You are then free to explore the hub while you wait!
Will food and drink be available at the Wascana Centre Hub?
Yes – we will have food and non-alcoholic drinks available for sale February 4, 5, 6, 12 and 13.
Where can I warm up?
We have a 30ft warming shack available! Please note that masks are required inside the shack.
Are there washrooms?
Yes – washrooms are available next to the warming shack.
How accessible is the Wascana Centre Hub?
The entire Wascana Centre hub – including rink, warming shack, washrooms – was designed to be fully accessible.
What additional programming is being offered?
We are proud to have partnered with many of our friends around Wascana Centre to offer additional programming at our hub! This includes the Saskatchewan Science Centre, University of Regina, First Nations University of Canada, Royal Saskatchewan Museum, Skye Bistro, and the Bar Willow!
What is parking like?
Free parking is available as always on Legislative Drive and around the Legislative Building. Please note that Walter Scott Way will be closed to vehicle traffic for the duration of Frost
