What is Frost Regina?
Frost Regina Presented by FCL is a true city-wide event that unites the community to celebrate the cold winter climate. Frost @Downtown, Frost @REAL, Frost @Warehouse, and Frost @Wascana will transform the city into a winter wonderland with beautiful light installations, spectacular art displays, and rich cultural events.
There are combination of indoor and outdoor activities, free and paid, with something for everyone!
What are the dates for Frost Regina?
Friday, February 3rd to Sunday, February 12th.
Will Frost Regina happen every year?
Yes! The Regina Winter Festival Committee, chaired by Councillor Lori Bresciani and Tim Reid, are working to make this an annual festival!
Will there be a combination of free and paid events?
Yes, there is a combination of free and paid events!
The events at Frost @REAL will require an all-inclusive pass that will grant you access to all events on the district.
Frost @Wascana, Frost @Warehouse, and Frost @Downtown’s programming is FREE and do NOT require a pass to enter. However, there are select events at these hubs that do require a ticket.

Will food/beverages be available at the venues?
Hot chocolate, frosticals, and Frost Regina Beer, OH MY!
Yes! Each hub will have multiple areas for food & beverage!
Will there be transportation between hubs?
Save time on parking and spend more time making memories…
YES – There will be FREE shuttle transportation on the both weekends! This shuttle will travel between all four hubs, Frost @Downtown, Frost @REAL, Frost @Warhouse, and Frost @Wascana, so you wont miss a thing!

How does this align with Waskimo?
Waskimo, now known as Wascana Winter Festival, is happening on February 17th.

When will frost passes be available?
Passes go on sale December 12th, 2022.
What is frost @REAL’s ticket policy?
A single admission gives you access to Glow @REAL, Snow Maze, Ice Slides, Ice Sculptures, Marketplace, Mostos Indigenous Village, Frost on Ice, Skate Parties, Kids Playzone, Entertainment and more!
Your pass gives you access to any one (1) day of Frost @ REAL.
All passes are final sale, no refunds.
Will all events be outdoor/indoor?
It will be a combination of both at all hubs. We suggest you dress appropriately in line with Saskatchewan winters.
Will there be parking at Frost @ REAL?
There will be free parking with limited capacity on-site.
You can also enjoy Premium Parking directly in front of the Viterra International Trade Centre for $10.00/vehicle on Fridays & Saturdays!
Where is the Wascana Centre Hub located?
Along Walter Scott Way, north of Legislative Drive near the Queen Elizabeth II Gardens and Leg Landing.
Is there a fee to enter the Wascana Centre Hub?
No – admission to, and all activities within, the Wascana Centre hub are free of charge.
Where can I warm up?
We have a warming shack available!
Are there washrooms?
Yes – washrooms are available next to the warming shack.
How accessible is the Wascana Centre Hub?
The entire Wascana Centre hub – including rink, warming shack, washrooms – was designed to be fully accessible.
Will there be parking at Frost @Wascana?
Yes, there will be parking available directly in front of the Legislative Building on Legislative Drive.
